4 Easy Steps to a Comfy Work Chair
Try these easy steps to make your work chair fit you better.
1. Adjust the seat height: Sitting upright in the chair, your feet should be flat on the floor, with your thighs at a 90 degree angle to your calves.
2. Adjust the seat depth: You should be able to fit 2 to 3 fingers between the back of your legs and the front edge of the seat.
3. Adjust the back rest: Lumbar support should flow naturally to the curvature of the back. Some lumbar supports are built into the chair and in that case, move the chair back up and down till comfortable on the back.
4. Adjust armrests (you'll probably tweak these the most during your work day): They should never be higher than the positions of your elbows when your arms are bent and at rest.
